Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you use this website or engage ComplianTA for services. Last updated: July 2026.

Note: this is placeholder template text, not a finished legal document. Before publishing, have it reviewed by a solicitor so it accurately reflects ComplianTA's actual service terms, liability position and client agreements.

1. Introduction

These terms govern your use of the ComplianTA website and, at a high level, the basis on which we provide services. Specific engagements are subject to a separate signed agreement or statement of work, which takes precedence over this page.

2. Use of this website

Content on this site is provided for general information about ComplianTA's services and should not be relied upon as specific technical, legal or compliance advice for your organisation. You must not misuse this website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or use it in a way that could damage or impair its operation.

3. Services

Each service described on this site — including managed IT, Microsoft 365 reviews, VOIP and call recording, security health checks, staff training and Cyber Essentials support — is scoped individually and delivered under the terms of the specific agreement signed with you, not by this page alone.

4. Certifications & assessments

Where we support a certification such as Cyber Essentials, the certification itself is issued by the relevant independent certifying body, not by ComplianTA. We support your readiness and submission but cannot guarantee the outcome of an independent assessment.

5. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under UK law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Beyond that, our liability in connection with this website is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law; liability relating to delivered services is set out in the relevant signed agreement.

6. Intellectual property

The content, design and branding of this website belong to ComplianTA Ltd unless otherwise stated, and may not be reproduced without permission.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Questions about these terms can be sent to info@complianta.co.uk.
